Value Added Tax (VAT)
Depending on the customer's country, cloudscale charges the applicable value added tax.
The prices listed on our website and in the cloud control panel do not include value added tax.
For customers in Switzerland and the EU, cloudscale charges the respective country's value added tax when buying prepaid credit; the selected top-up amount is increased by the applicable tax for payment.
Once payment has been processed, an invoice is generated, which states the applicable value added tax charged. The invoice is sent to the customer by email and can also be downloaded later from the control panel.
Business customers in the EU can enter their VAT number in the control panel; once it has been verified, no tax will be charged on subsequent prepaid balance top-ups.
