Object Lock for Immutable Objects
Using Object Lock, objects can be protected from modification and deletion for a predefined period of time.
In order to use Object Lock to protect objects, please note the following two requirements:
- The "object lock" feature must be enabled when the bucket is created in order to use it later. If the bucket was created without this feature, an error message will be returned for any corresponding requests.
- Currently, Object Lock is only supported in the object storage at our RMA location. Any Object Lock configuration on a bucket at the LPG location will be removed shortly thereafter.
