Billing of Compute, Storage, and Networking

The costs for compute, storage, and networking are billed once a day, down to the second.

At cloudscale, there are no fixed costs or minimum terms: to-the-second billing means that you do not have to worry about adding on services when you need them as you can simply delete them again afterwards.

After you create cloud services, the costs are recorded in the background and charged to your account balance once a day, shortly after midnight (in the local time zone of Zurich).

For services that did not exist for the entire calendar day, costs are charged "pro rata" for the exact duration of use. Similarly, if a server or volume was scaled, the time periods before and after the scaling are accounted for separately.

You can review the actual costs charged for each individual service in detail in the cloud control panel under "Billing > Billing Report".
